To produce its RUM1823, Etter Sons Ltd uses golden brown, naturally aromatic sugar cane molasses from a small sugar cane producer in Jamaica. The sugar cane molasses is fermented, and the alcohol generated in the process is concentrated through the distillation process. It is then aged for several years in used American Bourbon wooden barrels, which lends its unique flavour and lovely colour. In the Baar stalactite caves, mother nature produces some of Switzerland's purest water. This spring water from the source refines the RUM1823.
