Our creative hall for workshops and meetings in Gottlieben

Book our «Idea Factory» for your workshop, management meeting or a creative break-out with your team or department. The «Idea Factory» is located in an old boathouse and creates a unique ideation space right at our headquarters in Gottlieben. A thinking space that encourages creativity and supports collaboration with plenty of space and an inspiring environment.

The refurbished boathouse impresses with high ceilings, spacious areas, and a view of the beautiful Seerhein, giving it a unique atmosphere. For your time-out, you have the entire hall at your disposal with various working spaces that you can use and arrange according to your needs: Come together in a large group, retreat to working areas in small groups or work on various topics in different meeting places – here you can create an inspiring and creative atmosphere.

Depending on the set-up, the «Idea Factory» can host around 30 people and is available for bookings from May to September, between 8 am and 6 pm. For smaller groups of up to 10 people, our «Thinking Space» is available year-round. Would you like to add a special highlight to your event? Then enhance your program with a guided tour or a creative chocolate workshop in our manufactory!

Our packages

You can either reserve the entire hall of the «Idea Factory» with its various «Working Places» or the «Thinking space», our separate meeting room in a heated and air-conditioned container. If you would like to book a guided tour of the Gottlieber factory or a chocolate workshop, we will be delighted to discuss with you the best time in your day based on your wishes and our production schedule.

Package 1: «Idea Factory» one day (entire hall)

Spend one day (eight hours) with us in Gottlieben. The «Idea Factory» is available to you alone with all its various «Working Places»:

  • Area 1: «Thinking space» (meeting room) in a heated & air-conditioned container with tables, chairs and screen with electronic whiteboard for up to 10 people (conference seating)
  • Area 2: Podium, screen and benches for up to 30 people
  • Area 3: Long wooden table with screen for up to 10 people
  • Portable equipment: 2 whiteboards, 4 pin boards, 2 flip charts, facilitator toolkit
  • Wi-Fi
  • Fruits, mineral water and coffee

PRICE: CHF 1'000

Package 2: «Idea Factory» half-day (entire hall)

Spend half a day (four hours) with us in Gottlieben. The «Idea Factory» is available to you alone with all its various «Working Places»:

  • Area 1: «Thinking space» (meeting room) in a heated & air-conditioned container with tables, chairs and screen with electronic whiteboard for up to 10 people (conference seating)

Terms of cancellation

Food and drinks during your stay

Fruits, water and coffee are provided free of charge as part of your booking. If you would like croissants, cakes or snacks, you can place an order at our Gottlieber Seecafé, and we’ll deliver them to the «Idea Factory»  for you.

For lunch, we recommend that you make a reservation at one of the restaurants nearby. The restaurant Porto Sofie has a full and varied menu and is just a short walk away. Click here to view the menu.

Things to do nearby during breaks

There’s a football table for use during breaks. Alternatively, you have the option to book an exciting guided tour or a creative chocolate workshop in our manufactory. Or you can take advantage of our fantastic location on the banks of Lake Rhine/the Seerhein river, with views of the Wollmatinger Ried nature reserve and the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing dip right in front of the boathouse. Discover the picturesque village of Gottlieben itself, which has a population of just 300, on a short circular walking route that will take just a few minutes. Alternatively, the open-air Tägerwilen lake swimming spot complete with beach volleyball pitch and the Kuhhorn swimming spot are just a short stroll away.
